Daniel McCormick, CFA, Managing Partner



Daniel has 15 years of financial services & alternative energy experience primarily working in the areas of solar energy, corporate finance, and business development.
For the past 5 years Daniel has been working in the emerging solar energy industry advising companies on all aspects of financial & market analysis, investment banking, strategic planning and marketing. He has also been involved in innovative product development for the solar industry through the Canadian & International investment banking community.

Previously employed for 6 years at a national investment management company, Daniel was responsible for the marketing of investment products, including structured and tax products and alternative investments. He also managed products distributed through the national brokerage network and the institutional market.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is also the Vice-Chairman at St. Simon's Shelter, a Toronto based men's homeless shelter.



Howard Sutton, P.Eng., MBA, CFA, Partner



Howard has been in the investment business for over 24 years and has worked extensively with several emerging green technology companies. Prior to founding Tera Capital in 1996, Howard was an investment partner at Goodman and Company. Howard is an experienced portfolio manager with industry expertise in the analysis of private and public equities in the Innovation sector. Howard’s combined background in engineering and investment gives him the unique advantage to understanding and evaluating both he science and the finance behind Siginik. Howard currently manages the top performing Global Innovation Fund and is considered the Voice of Technology in Canada, with frequent contributions to BNN and several financial publications.



Rolf K. Fabricius, P.Eng., Partner



As President of North American Steel and its group of companies, Rolf has been involved in the acquisition of several large manufacturing firms. General Storage Systems, North American Storage, Triple-A Manufacturing and StoRRack Ltd. have all joined together to create a huge force in the field of providing specialized structural steel racking and framing systems for the storage and warehouse industry. At the forefront of the material handling and steel storage industry for over 25 years, he is an active board member of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) committee and has been instrumental in developing the new Canadian Rack Standard (CSA A.344.2-05). Rolf has several patents in the racking industry. Rolf is a practicing Professional Structural Engineer for over 25 years with a degree from Queen’s University, and currently holds licenses in four provinces.



Myndi Quirion, Bsc, Associate



Myndi graduated from Lakehead University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences. During school she spent summers working for the Ontario Geological Survey and the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority. After graduation she worked for the Ministry of Natural Resources doing Forest Fire Detection.


She also spent 2 years working for an environmental contracting company in Hamilton as a sales assistant in demolition and hazardous waste clean up projects.


Myndi has been in the financial services industry for the past 6 years, working in trade support and portfolio administration roles with mutual fund and investment management firms.
